Description

The Border Store is situated in Kakadu National Park near the East Alligator River.

You may have heard about the famous Thai Cuisine - this is now located at Anbinik Kakadu Resort’s onsite Restaurant which is operated seasonally from mid-April to late November each day starting 6:45am through to 10am for breakfast. We’re known for our exceptional Thai cuisine that is available during dinner service 5:30pm to 9pm as well as a good selection of international meals on offer. We are proud of our coffee, great range of refreshing home-made drinks and iced teas and our gorgeous tropical garden alfresco setting. Our evening meal service can be designed to suit the needs of tour groups, such as buffets.

On or off-site conference catering is also available in Jabiru, and takeaway is available if you’d prefer to take your meal with you.

As Anbinik Restaurant Proprietors, we welcome you to share our passion for food and hospitality.

"Injalak Arts has started a pop up shop at the Border Store. The outlet is selling paintings on bark and paper, weavings and sculpture as well as hand-screen printed fabric lengths. Customers of Injalak Arts at Border Store will be safe in the knowledge that their purchases are contributing to an Indigenous-Owned charitable non-profit organisation. Injalak Arts plays a central role in the artistic and cultural life of traditional Aboriginal artists living in remote communities in western Arnhem Land. Injalak Arts is an outstanding example of a community organisation that delivers positive social, economic and cultural outcomes for its members. Other places to buy Indigenous art in Kakadu National Park do not support and represent entire communities or advocate for artists as Injalak Arts does. Gunbalanya is 12kms away from the Border Store, but COVID-19 has limited the accessibility of communities in Arnhem Land to visitors.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Border Store between 9-5pm, Monday - Sunday
