Arafura Bluewater Charters are based in Cullen Bay, NT. We specialise in bluewater reef and game fishing charters. Our day tours are a unique opportunity to make the catch of a lifetime. Our experienced crew operate four fantastic and well equipped vessels, Wai Nawana, Wai Adi and Wai Tui. Arafura Bluewater Charters offer exciting day charter trips for fishing enthusiasts. Situated in Australia's Top End, we offer anglers a unique opportunity to catch a wide range of species in a pristine environment. From trolling surface lures chasing mackerel to hauling in giant jew fish you're sure to enjoy a memorable and unique fishing adventure.
Darwin's diverse range of quality reef fish includes snapper, jewfish, coral trout, red emperor, plus many more. Our day charters include everything you will need for the trip, including quality fishing tackle, quality game rods and reels, all bait and ice. We also provide all meals and snacks, tea, coffee and ice water. BYO soft drinks or light alcohol.(No glass)
Our experienced crew are on hand to assist with all your needs . All the fish you catch will be cleaned, gilled and gutted and may be kept within NT bag limits.
Vessels leave Cullen Bay at 6am and return at approx 3.30pm. Passengers need to be at Cullen Bay Marina no later than 05.50am.
Wai Nawana is a 52' custom built Legend vessel, 1c, 2b survey up to 200nm, twin 600hp Caterpillar motors. Large air conditioned lounge & cabin area sleeping up to 12. Flat screen TV/DVD. 2 toilets, hot/cold shower. Takes up to 22 pax for day charters and up to 12 overnight / extended charters.
Wai Tui and Wai Adi 1c, 2c, 2b survey 13.5x 4.2m, cruising at 22knots. Huge covered fishing decks. Toilet and shower. All latest marine technology. Up to 18 passengers for group bookings. Fishing 14 comfortably for day charters.
