Description

The Mary River Wetlands Cruise commences seasonally early May. The Rockhole Billabong is part of the largest permanent wetland area of the Mary River system. The Top End wet season transforms the Mary River Wetlands into an inland sea & replenishes the earth after the long dry. Fish, crocodiles & birds breed & flourish. As the wet season waters subside, the 'dry season' creates an awesome spectacle to view huge numbers of bird species & large crocodiles. It is a wildlife observers paradise.

Relax & enjoy the Mary River Wetlands aboard the 24 seat vessels "Azure I & Azure II, which depart the Rockhole for cruises along these unspoilt & captivating waterways.

Spot saltwater crocodiles as well as fresh water crocodiles, wild buffalo & wallabies at the waters edge & plenty of more wildlife as you cruise the wetlands.

Our trained guides have tremendous knowledge of the flora & fauna of this amazing area & will bring the experience to life for you.... See why the Mary River Wetlands is fast becoming reconised as the best place to view wildlife in the Northern Territory.
