The Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival signifies the beginning of the Top End's peak season where tourists come from far and wide to be a part of the month long racing feast. The Carnival boasts all the colour, glamour and excitement that the sport of kings traditionally brings to both city and country centres right across australia.

Description

The Great Northern Darwin Cup is truly an annual pilgrimage. For those who are yet to experience the time-honoured event, get set for what is sure to be a month of partying, social events, cocktail parties and of course fantastic racing action.

The Darwin Turf Club also offers a large variety of function spaces along with hosting upwards of 40 race meets throughout the course of the year.

Cancellation Policy

PAYMENT
• All prices are inclusive of GST and in Australian dollars AUD.
• Prices listed are per person and are subject to availability.
• Tickets are available for purchase online through www.darwinturfclub.org.au.
• Tickets are also available for purchase using a manual booking form downloaded from www.darwinturfclub.org.au.
• An administration fee of $10 per manual booking form will be charged for processing.
• All Amex and Diner credit card payments will be charged a 3% transaction fee.
• Group bookings need to be processed in one transaction. Individual payments are not accepted.
• All bookings must be accompanied by full payment and will not be confirmed until full payment is received.

REFUNDS
DTC will not issue any refunds under any circumstance.

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
All clients who have booked tickets indemnify the DTC against liability for or in respect of any claims demands actions suits or proceedings costs expenses loss damage personal injury or death of any person arising out of or in connection with the execution of work at the facility the use of the facility by the Client or any act or omission of the Client or any of their guests invitees employees contractors or agents.

GREAT NORTHERN DARWIN CUP CARNIVAL OF COLOUR AT A GLANCE Darwin’s premier dry season event, the 2019 Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival excites the nation. The month-long eight-day carnival is the biggest social and sporting event in the Northern Territory with a vast line up of entertainment, hospitality packages and top-quality racing. DAY 1 Saturday 6 July — Hot100 Guineas Day This is the first leg in the $100,000 Ladbrokes Triple Crown with top-quality thoroughbred racing. The HOT100 team broadcast live from the Pearl Bar with giveaways galore! DAY 2 Saturday 13 July — Asian United Food Service Chief Ministers Cup Day Bring along your picnic for this affordable ‘Family Day’. The trackside playground keeps the little ones thrilled with free entertainment, pony rides, jumping castle, facing painting and more. DAY 3 Wednesday 17 July — Bridge Toyota Ladies’ Day A massive day with fabulous food, fashions and colour dominating on and off the track. It’s the first day of Silk Laser Clinics Fashion on the Field along with Veuve Clicquot flowing at the Ladies’ Day luncheon in the Schweppes Pavilion. DAY 4 Saturday 20 July — Ladbrokes NT Derby Day The second leg of the Ladbrokes Triple Crown is the only day that it is 100% acceptable not to wear colour, but the customary black and white palette! The Pearl Bar will have live music, while the Fashions on the Field competition continues. DAY 5 Saturday 27 July — SKY Racing Metric Mile Day The $50,000 feature is the final opportunity for Cup hopefuls to make the field at Cup Day. So, while the racing heats up, punters can chill at a variety of luncheon choices or picnic on the lawns. DAY 6 Wednesday 31 July — Darwin Corporate Park Race Day A fun, relaxed day and the ‘entrée’ to the grand finale weekend. Leading Territory businesses host a variety of corporate functions.
