Many people drive to Katherine. From Darwin we are only 300kms south. There are 3 main road side stops with cafes, fuel and bathroom amenitites. They also offer limited accommodation for those who would like to stop overnight.

The Ghan

The magnificent Ghan runs through the centre of Australia from Adelaide to Darwin, and Katherine is one of the major visiting desitinations.
