DPR Investments Pty Ltd (DPR) was est. on 29 Apr, 93 in Adelaide, SA to purchase the business of the Regal Park Motor Inn in North Adelaide. DPR subsequently sold the business in Oct, 99.
DPR acquired an Elders Insurance Agency in Katherine in the NT in Sept, 01. The Agency was the largest Elders Insurance Brokerage in Aust with access to a range of National Underwriters. In Aug 07, Elders resolved to terminate its Broking Licence and consequently DPR was required to sell its business operation.
On 1 Apr, 12, DPR purchased an Insurance Agency from Nola Dudley Insurance in Euroa, VIC. Ms Dudley est. the business in Euroa in ’80. The withdrawal of 2 key Underwriters from strategic markets offered by Ms Dudley forced the immediate establishment of DPR Insurance Brokers to enable clients to be serviced. DPR resolved to join the Ausure group on 26 Apr,12 as a Corporate Authorised Representative. This allowed DPR to immediately trade as a Brokerage and become a Member of Steadfast, whilst providing access a broader number of Underwriters.
