Description
The village style resort is located beneath a canopy of trees beside Yellow Water Billabong, home to world-renowned Yellow Water Cruises, where crocodiles, birds and an array of wildlife can be seen on the flood plain amongst paperbark and pandanus trees and fresh water mangroves.
With its oasis style atmosphere, Cooinda Lodge offers two inviting shaded swimming pools, bistro-style dining, a bar, petrol station and a store that offers locally made crafts as well a wide range of essentials for touring.
Accommodation options include 48 fully refurbished hotel lodge rooms with own ensuite and 20 double and family Outback Retreat glamping tents, which provide high-quality bedding, air-conditioning, private verandas, and a dedicated amenities block in its own exclusive site.

Bookings made on our standard room rate or flexible rate allow free cancellation and full refund up to 21 days prior to arrival. Cancellations inside 21 days prior to arrival will incur full booking fees.
Bookings made on Advanced Purchase, Stay and Save, Stay Longer and Save or any sale or promotional rate are non-refundable or amendable once booked. Full fees will apply.
All no shows or early departures will be treated as a cancellation and full fees will apply.

Directions
Cooinda is located approximately 300 kms from Darwin in Kakadu National Park. From the Stuart Highway, turn onto the Arnhem Highway and follow this until you reach the Kakadu Highway, then turn right. Travel 54kms down the Kakadu Highway to the Cooinda turn-off, and follow that road right to the end, where you will find Cooinda Lodge Kakadu.

The New Yellow Water Villas at Cooinda Lodge are the absolute in luxury, nestled deep within the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park, and situated on the edge of the renowned Yellow Water Billabong. Elevated on stilts high amongst the treetops, you will be completely immersed in this wonderland of nature of the Australian bush.
There is 1 x car park per Villa and access to boat parking.
There is a relatively steep stairway (approx. 8 steps) into each room.
Each room has King size bed, 2 x Day Beds (sitting area by day, sleeping area for children by night), table and chairs, Kitchenette, ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, large deck overlooking the bush with an outdoor bathtub, outdoor dining table and BBQ.
