Only 6 lovely little detached bungalow-style rooms set on a lush acre of quiet & serene, tropical & native gardens, bounded by eucalypt open woodland savanna.
This delightful Bed & Breakfast is ideal for a relaxing break or as a base to explore Litchfield National Park: stunning scenery, exciting flora and fauna,
geology, walks, 4WD tracks & swimming in year-round spring-fed waterfalls and rockholes.
Enjoy the delicious gourmet tropical breakfast ($15 pp) featuring regional and seasonal produce, served in the breakfast room alongside the cool and shaded pool.
The BBQ in the softly lit water garden is available for guests who wish to self-cater, or there are places close by serving evening meals.
Rum Jungle Bungalows is a perfect place to spend a peaceful night or two, a one hour drive from Darwin. A green and leafy oasis in the Dry Season ~ A cool and lush retreat from the heat in the Wet!

WELCOME to Rum Jungle Bungalows: 6 simply lovely little bungalow-style rooms set in the garden, each with Queen Bed & Ensuite Bathroom with Natural Essence products.
Extra beds: Two of the bungalows have an additional single bed.
Each bungalow has a personal car park alongside.
All rooms have coffee & tea making facilities and supplies, a small fridge, fan, TV, airconditioner and shaded verandah.
BREAKFAST (optional) is $15 pp. A delicious gourmet tropical breakfast, using regional/seasonal produce, is served in the poolside breakfast room and can be booked along with the accommodation or the night before if required.
The swimming pool area is a wonderful place to relax; the always refreshing pool is shaded by the surrounding tropical garden and 'leaf catcher' canopy.
MEALS: You may like to self-cater using our BBQ in the water garden, or there are a couple of places serving evening meals within walking or short driving distance.
RATES: Accommodation 1 - 2 persons $170 per night. br>SPECIAL RATES: Multiple nights discount available.

Directions: Batchelor is 98 kms, a one hour drive, from Darwin. From the Stuart Highway turn right onto Batchelor Road.
After arriving in Batchelor turn right at the round-about, then turn first left into Meneling Road.
You will see the Rum Jungle Bungalows sign just 100 metres down the road. |

Every month of the year can be a special occasion here at the Bungalows: Just perfect for a relaxing or romantic getaway for a couple of days or more. An ideal place to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays or any special occasion.
The annual Batchelor community LINGALONGA FESTIVAL is on Saturday 3 August 2013. 60TH ANNIVERSARY of the Township of Batchelor ~ 2nd to 5th August 2013
25th April ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICE is held at the historic and beautiful Adelaide River War Cemetery. Join us all afterwards for a Big Brekky, many local stories and Two-Up at the Race Course. All welcome.
There are many community facilities in Batchelor which visitors are welcome to use: The Batchelor Museum, the Library, beautiful Oval with historic trees, Picnic & BBQ areas, Bowling Club (the first in the NT), Community Gardens, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool, Information Centre and the Historic Walk.
